Quebec, December 2, 2013 – Today De Marque heads to Mexico to participate in the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL) on December 3 and 4 (stand II14 – International section).
On the occasion of the XIIth International Publishers and Professionals Forum, held during the FIL, our CEO Marc Boutet joins the “From Shelf to the Screen: Selling Books – Distribution and bookstores in virtual times” panel as a guest speaker. The forum this year is focused on the changes taking place in the ecosystem of books.
“This is a great time to feel the pulse of the South American market, which is growing in the field of digital books and offers a lot of potential,” says Marc Boutet. “Our Cantook platform is already available in Spanish, so Hispanic publishers in the Americas can now benefit from our technology to broadcast their digital books worldwide.”
Since October, Cantook platform users have the possibility to also sell digital books in various Spanish-speaking countries through a partnership with online bookstore Casa del Libro (www.casadellibro.com).
De Marque is a leader in the field of cultural digital content distribution, in particular digital books. The company has enjoyed sustained growth and relies on Cantook, its cutting-edge technology platform, and a strategy based on the development of partnerships with key players in each of the markets it has entered.
